Who cares about the clothes (literally), this Bruce Webber film from the Yves Saint Laurent Mens A/W 2010 projects a fertile sense of nature. "I am, who, I am". Everything is beautiful and born from within, not just the naked men bonding in a pool of love. It has inspired me, to go nude from now on! Being vulnerable is a sense of strength not weakness.

There is always a lesson to learn in fashion, and thats why I love it.

Why do we not love Grey? Grey is soundless, invisible and within the void. It is the perfect tone, the in between, the balance of good and bad. It is harmony. Dont we power ourselves towards perfection? Yet im not blind, I perceive colour. Ahhh, the negation of absolute! Mother nature herself does not want us to be perfect, yet we feel we are closer to perfection everday. We want to be perfect.

Grey becomes the reflection of society, the present and what is in the future. Oh the conundrum, for if we introduce colour, the balance becomes unbalanced and the balance becomes no more. Inviting my friend Nihil! We cannot power ourselves towards not being blind, for colour has destroyed the harmony and thus tragedy will rule until tragedy is not tragic.

I dont want to post the whole report, and i can not seem to find where the report is at wwd.com, but i felt it was a fantastic read. Therefore if you click this will direct you to thefashionspot.com forum where you can read the shit out of it!

Once again its a good read. It allows you to understand the commercial aspects of buyers and what they do, but more importantly, they name the designers that were successful. Ill leave the evaluation up to you :D Not giving all my secrets away!

And she looks so regal and elegant like an elf, she has caught my heart. At recent fashion weeks, she has done very well racking up 60 shows. She also has some great style. Look out for her!

ile i sit here drinking my cuppa, and nibble at my bicuits. There is work to be done! Im glad that my portfolio for UNI next year is out of the way, i can ease my head a little bit and move forward. The big project is about "Putting compassion into fashion!" Basically, I have chosen to do a range on outerwear inspired by Nihilism and the colour palette of Michelangelo's art fresco 'The Last Judgement'. I realised that my first set of technical boards and range wasnt good enough so i have been in the mood lately, sketching away. Doing what i do best!

I had many ambitions for this project, pattern making and sewing one of the garments instead of revamping, as sustainability is an important factor in this range. I also wanted to create a website and a tv show as well, but the lack of money and time has made me reconstruct what i can do. So instead of making a website, im going to see what i can do to implement a database into this wonderful blog!

Meanwhile, my suggestion is go make yourself a cuppa tea or coffee. You cant be a fashionista without loving a cuppa!
